Team X-Tudo has landed!

After 26 hours, and surprisingly few snafus, team X-tudo has arrived safely to our final destination: Espirito Santo, Vitoria, Brazil. The flights were all on time, the layovers short but not too short and the long flights even seemed to go by quickly.  The boys, all dressed cutie patootie in their matching informs, even managed to snag us some free water from the male flight attendant (who looked and talked an awful like like Ari's assistant Lloyd on Entourage- google it).  The only minor glitch, came when Paul decided it would be a good idea to give our only paper copy of our presentation ($40 at Kinkos) to a gentleman we met from Espirito Santo.  Paul figured he would enjoy the presentation and, kindly return it when finished. He did not.  We now have no paper copies of our presentation.  Kinko's anyone?

Our host club members met us at the quaint airport with a very warm welcome. 20 or more people showed up to welcome us and promptly wisked us away in our OWN private van WITH driver. Oh yes, we have our own driver.  Our generous hosts booked us into the Best Western Vitoria Hotel for our rest day/night. We now have 24 hours to get some much needed R & R before beginning our touring schedule.  The hotel is right on a gorgeous beach with a long biking and running path along the edge. After showering and changing clothes we headed to a restaurant for a delicious dinner.  We were the only ones in the restaurant however...leave it to the Americans to think 6:30 is a normal time to eat dinner in Brazil.  Tomorrow night we'll aim for 9.

Before our lunch and orientation tomorrow, Kristy will be leading us in a morning run along the beach followed by some beach yoga. That's the plan tonight at least ;)

Off to rest. More from us soon. Boa Noite.
